Abstract

Practical guides are teaching materials used in the teaching and learning process in the laboratory. The existence of practicum guides to date has not met the desired criteria, therefore here the author has an innovation in learning to create a practicum guide based on a scientific approach so that it becomes a learning tool for students to be effective in learning using the practicum method. This research aims to analyze the feasibility of a Scientific Approach-based microbiology practicum guide. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) and the development model used is the 4D development model. Research is carried out only at the Develop stage. The feasibility analysis of the practicum guide was obtained from the results of material validation and design validation carried out by material experts and design experts. The resulting data was analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the validation carried out by experts by a material content expert lecturer, namely Mr. Rasuane Noor and a design expert lecturer, namely Mr. Suharno Zen, regarding biology learning resources in the form of microbiology practicum guides that were created produced an average percentage of 96%. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning resource in the form of a microbiology practical guide that was developed is suitable to be used as a biology learning resource.
